Digital fiber sensor: FX-500 series and FX-300 series
CC-Link communication unit: SC-GU3-01

  • The fiber amplifier is excellent in supplying light emitted from light projecting elements to the fiber head, which is referred to as the optical coupling capability, and thus can detect an object in the distance even with a nanofiber.
  • The fiber head includes 149 models, such as the high-spec fiber (bend radius: R2, flex resistance: 10 million times), inexpensive tough fiber, and environmentally-resistant fiber (heat resistance, vacuum resistance, and chemical resistance).
  • Via the CC-Link communication unit SC-GU3-01, the light receiving amount of up to 16 fiber sensors can be read and the threshold value can be written (teaching).

With the following profile, the functions of iQ Sensor Solution (iQSS) can be added to the digital fiber sensor FX-500 series and FX-300 series and the CC-Link communication unit SC-GU3-01.The profile contains information required for startup, operation, and maintenance of devices, such as network parameter information and memory map.Parameters and others can be set with GX Works2.
